New Delhi:
Actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone bring alive Maratha leader Peshwa Bajirao 1 and his warrior queen Mastani's fabled romance in the latest song from the film Aayat.
The soulful number, which has been sung by Arijit Singh and composed by the film's director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is picturised mostly against the backdrop of Bajirao's opulent palace. Bajirao and Mastani's interaction later shifts to the battlefield where the severly-wounded pair are shown looking into each other's eyes in the face of death. Missing from the sequence is actress Priyanka Chopra who plays Bajirao's first wife Kashibai.
Bajirao Mastani opens this Friday, the same time as the Rohit Shetty-directed Dilwale starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.
