Rapper Raftaar and interior decorator Komal Vohra, who got married in 2016, filed for divorce in 2020, around the time of the pandemic. However, they will sign the final papers in October this year, reports Hindustan Times. A source close to the couple told Hindustan Times: "Everything was delayed due to the pandemic. They will sign the divorce papers on October 6." The source close to the couple told HT that problems began "only a few days after their marriage" and added, "Both have moved on in their respective lives and the couple, along with their families, remain cordial." Raftaar and Komal Vohra have also unfollowed each other on social media reportedly and have also deleted photographs with each other on their respective social media handles.
An official statement from the couple is awaited. Raftaar and Komal Vohra met each other in 2011 at a friend's place. They got married in 2016 after dating for about 5 years. Raftaar had announced the news of his wedding back then by sharing a picture from his wedding ceremony and he wrote, "Married to my soulmate."
Raftaar, real name Dilin Nair, is best-known for tracks like Dhup Chik, Go Pagal, Toh Dishoom, Swag Mera Desi, remix of Haseeno Ka Deewana, Instagram Love and All Black, to name a few. He also famously sang Dhaakad from Aamir Khan's film Dangal.
Other than that he also judged a season of the TV show Dance India Dance and featured as a gang leader on a few seasons of the adventure TV reality show Roadies.
