A news report that claimed actress Rashmika Mandanna had been cheated for Rs 80 lakh by her manager whom she then fired turns out to be inaccurate – although Rashmika and her manager have indeed parted ways. A source close to the developments says, ""The news of Rashmika Mandanna's manager duping her for money and being fired is false and completely untrue. The actress was managed by her south manager for a long time. However now they have decided to amicably part ways for their own personal reasons."

Earlier this week, Pinkvilla reported that Rashmika's manager had duped her of Rs 80 lakh. Several news outlets quoted a source as having said, "There is some chatter about Rashmika being duped of ₹80 lakh by her manager. Apparently, she didn't want to create a scene about it. Therefore, she dealt with it on her own by firing her manager."

Regardless of the reason, Rashmika and her manager are no longer working together. There is so far no sign of this behind-the-scenes turbulence on the 27-year-old actress' social media. Her most recent Instagram post is a set of pictures from the set of upcoming film Animal – the first is a photo of Rashmika and co-star Ranbir Kapoor who also shows up in the group pictures in the post. "Animal – pieces of my heart," Rashmika Mandanna captioned her post.

Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, will be Rashmika Mandanna's third Hindi film after Goodbye and Mission Majnu. She also has another big release coming up this year – Pushpa: The Rule, the sequel to the massively successful Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun.
