She has been roped in by the makers of Animal. The news was shared by Rashmika on Instagram Stories. Along with a picture of herself, the South beauty wrote, “Good day comes with the good news.” She has also added Ugadi and Gudi Padwa GIFs to the post. Animal stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. And, we just can't wait to see Ranbir and Rashmika spell the magic on-screen.
Animal will go on floors this summer. Earlier, Parineeti Chopra was supposed to play the part in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga has also announced Rashmika Mandanna's entry with a welcome note. “Happy Ugadi, people. We welcome Rashmika Mandanna to the world of Animal to play Geetanjali.” To this, Rashmika said, “Let's do this.”
Animal is expected to release on August 11, 2023. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in crucial roles. T-Series, Bhadrakali Pictures and Cine1Studios are jointly producing the upcoming movie.
Apart from Animal, Ranbir Kapoor has Shamshera alongside Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in the pipeline. He is also part of Luv Ranjan's next. Ranbir will share the screen with Shraddha Kapoor in this film.
Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Ayan Mukherji's much-awaited project Brahmastra. The film will release on September 9, 2022. Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy are also part of the project.
