Sci-fi blockbuster Avatar's eagerly anticipated re-release will include a love-making scene between the Na'vi heroine Neytiri and Jake.
Described by director James Cameron as the "alien kink", the scene had been chopped from the original version.
Nine minutes of footage will be added to the new version which releases on Aug 27, reported New York Post.
"It's been restored, every last frame of it. I would call it more of an alien foreplay scene. It's not like they're ripping their clothes off and going at it," said Cameron.
The film stars Zoe Saldana as Neytiri and Sam Worthington as Jake.
Cameron's actual script was briefly posted online and featured some breathless descriptions of the scene.
"The tendrils intertwine with gentle undulations. Jake rocks with the direct contact between his nervous system and hers. The ultimate intimacy," read the description of the scene.
Another added scene is one which Cameron calls 'the drums of war'. The scene further explains the human decision to wipe out the Na'vi.
