Actor Bobby Deol says his on-screenchemistry with father Dharmendra in their upcoming movie'Yamla Pagla Deewana' has come out well because of therelationship the two share in real life.
"Since I am the youngest in the family... I fool aroundwith Papa. But, I don't behave stupidly. In the film, it isbecause of him, that our chemistry is amazing," Bobby toldPTI.
In the film, he said they play the characters of thugs."even though they are father and son, they are friends. Theydo everything together and can talk anything under the sun,"he added.
Bobby who celebrates his 44th birthday next month, saiddoing comedy was not an easy task.
"I have not done comedies much. However, the situationsin this film were great. It is an entertainer which will takethe audience back to the Manmohan Desai lost-and-found genre,"he added.
Speaking about elder brother Sunny, he said even'Bhaiyya' has not done comedies.
"He is the toughest guy in the film industry. Here, he isa tough guy put in a comical situation. Comedy in 'Yamla PaglaDeewana' is situational and I am confident that audienceswould react positively to the film," he added.
The actor said he had put his heart and soul in the filmand is extremely excited and anxious as the D-Day nears forthe release on January 14.
"The positive feedback over the promos is making us feelthat we have a good product in hand," he said.
"We have never promoted our movies in such a big way.Hope we don't fall short," he said.
Apart from 'Yamla Pagla Deewana', Bobby is currentlyshooting for Anees Bazmi's 'Thank You' with Akshay Kumar andSonam Kapoor and Abbas Mustan's 'Players' with AbhishekBachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Neil Nitin Mukesh.
He said he has no qualms of working in multi-starrers."It is the trend of today," he added.
Bobby said he is optimistic that 'Yamla Pagla Deewana'would bring good days again for the Deols. "My brother treatsme as his son. We share a close bond. He wishes the best forme and I do the same for him," he added.
