Priyanka Chopra recently attended the ongoing edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The actress was presented with an honourary award by Hollywood icon Sarah Jessica Parker. In an Instagram post, Priyanka thanked the minds behind the festival for the honour and congratulated them for creating a space for films. The images featured the actress dressed in a strapless silver Oscar de la Renta gown. Priyanka's husband Nick Jonas accompanied her on the red carpet in a classic black suit, white tuxedo shirt and black bow. "Thank you for the wonderful honour Red Sea Film Festival. Congratulations to all the winners and participants. Here's to continually bringing the world of entertainment together," she wrote in the caption. Mrunal Thakur reacted to Priyanka Chopra's post and wrote, "GORGEOUS." Fatima Sana Shaikh added, "Wow!!!!". Neha Dhupia commented, "Stunning u." Preity Zinta said, "Hottie."
At the Red Sea Film Festival, Priyanka Chopra revealed that she learnt ancient martial arts for her 2006 film Don which became a major part of her acting journey. The actress said, "First time, I properly touched action was in the first Don. I remember properly learning Tai Chi for it." She recalled taking classes for Tai Chi as she “really wanted it to go right.”
“By the time I came to Don, I had realised that the most important thing to focus on is my craft, not your relationships with your director and co-actors, not how you behave on set, but what you do between action and cut,” Priyanka said.
On the future work front, Priyanka Chopra has been filming for the second season of the Prime Video series Citadel. The actress will also be a part of Heads Of State alongside Idris Elba and John Cena. She also has The Bluff in the line-up.
