Dawn Holland, the formerrehab worker who was allegedly assaulted by Lindsay Lohan, isdropping her criminal complaint against the troubled star.
The Mean Girls star was under police investigationfor battery against the former staffer at Betty Ford Center,who was fired by the clinic for violating confidentialityguidelines.
But Holland's lawyer, Keith Davidson, has said nofurther action will be taken because "a crime has quite simplynot been committed by Ms Lohan", reported TMZ.
"Dawn will not continue to press charges againstLindsay, nor will she be assisting any further in theinvestigation or prosecution," Davidson said.
He added that Holland who alleged that Lohan was"out of control" earlier this week, causing a sprain in herright arm and hand sympathizes with the 24-year-old actress.The two share a similar struggle as they're both recoveringaddicts.
Davidson also said that Holland does not want "in anyway shape or form to do anything that would violate Lindsay'sprobation or cause an arrest."
