Mumbai: Director Farah Khan's big-budget multi-starrer Happy New Year is expected to hit the screens during the Diwali week.
Director Indra Kumar, who was planning to release his Super Nani during Diwali, has pushed the release date forward to avoid a clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year.
A small-budget drama, Super Naani was scheduled for an October 24 release, but now the film starring Rekha, Sharman Joshi, and Anupam Kher, among others, will be released on October 31. (Also Read: Rekha does a Madhubala in the Film)
"We have postponed our film and there are several reason behind this. One of the major reasons to push the film was that we want to avoid the clash with Shah Rukh Khan," Kumar told IANS.
