Remo D'Souza is certain ABCD will touch a chord with the audience
Mumbai:
Filmmaker Remo D'Souza is overwhelmed with the response to his directorial ABCD - AnyBody Can Dance. He says he will visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar to offer prayers.
"I will be going to the Golden Temple. I am overwhelmed with the response to ABCD," Remo told IANS."The film has taken a rocking opening. I would love if the entire country goes and watches India's first 3D dance-based movie. It is an underdog story that will touch heartstrings," he added.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film minted Rs 5.5 crore on its opening day, with screenings in 400 3D screens and 350 2D screens.
"Slight dip in evening shows. Very good for non-star cast film," tweeted Adarsh.
The movie features Prabhudheva, Ganesh Acharya, Kay Kay Menon and Salman Yusuff Khan.
