Mumbai:
Ace choreographer-turned director Remo D'souza, who judged hit television dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa alongside Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit is keen on making a broadway musical with the <i>Dhak Dhak</i> girl.
"My next film will be out and out musical. It is in the scripting stage. I would love to cast Madhuri.I would take the script to her," said Remo.
Madhuri had made a comeback of sorts with Yash Raj's Aaja Nachle, which was also a dance musical. However, the movie failed to create magic at the box office.
Remo said like every other small town boy he also dreamt of seeing Madhuri and intended to work with her.
"I came to Mumbai tried meeting her several times but failed. And, suddenly there is a show where she is my co-judge. In the finale of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa I choreographed Madhuri. It was dream come true. I always wanted to choreograph her," the 36-year-old whose forte is Hip-Hop said.
On the movie, he said, "It will be unlike the way we generally see in our Hindi films. It will be a Broadway styled musical in which characters express themselves through dance and song instead of dialogues."
"Once the script is over we would finalise the actors. The film will go on floors in May or June," Remo said.
Remo, who became a household name with another dance reality show Dance India Dance, makes his debut as a director with Vashu Bhagnani's F. A.L.T.U starring Riteish Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Arshad Warsi and Miss India Puja Gupta. The film releases on April 1.
