London:
Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds suffers from claustrophobia and was forced to battle the lifelong anxiety disorder when he was locked in a coffin for new movie Buried.
In the film, the 33-year-old stars as a trucker who is kidnapped in Iraq and buried alive - and he spent two weeks shooting in a prop coffin to finish the underground sequence, reported Contactmusic.
Reynolds "emerged skinless", battered, bruised and even with a small bald spot from rubbing against the wood for hours on end.
But dealing with his anxiety was the worst part. "Even elevators start to feel like a large sweater to me. Big spaces agree with me just fine," said Reynolds.
