According to Martin's blog, the book would be entitled Santiago, el sonador entre las estrellas (Santiago, The Dreamer in the Land Among the Stars).
San Juan:
Puerto Rican artiste Ricky Martin has said that he will soon release his first book for children, the plot of which he crafted from his experience as the father of twins Matteo and Valentino.
"I hope that the pages of this book can be useful for those who believe that the dreams we weave in our imagination can become a reality," Martin said.
According to his blog, the book would be entitled Santiago, el sonador entre las estrellas (Santiago, The Dreamer in the Land Among the Stars) and would hit the market on November 14 in Spanish and English.
The 32-page book has been illustrated by Spanish artist Patricia Castelao and edited by Celebra, a division of Penguin group, and it tells the story of Santiago, a boy who pursues his dreams, and a father who believes in the unlimited potential of his son.
"My greatest wish is that Santiago will occupy a special place in the hearts of children and their parents, with everyone enjoying this uplifting story that shows the fulfilment of dreams begins with self-confidence," Martin said.
The sources of inspiration for the artiste in this latest creative work were his five-year-old twins, who were conceived by artificial insemination and later implanted in a surrogate mother to be brought to term and delivered.
