The singers' reconciliation may be controversial - as they split after Chris beat Rihanna in 2009 - but friends say the fact they have got back together means their feelings have "stood the test of time."
A source told Hollywoodlife.com: "They're riding high right now, you feel me, enjoying they lives and happy to be back in each other's arms.
"It's true love and it stood the test of time. You know it's real. It can't be anything else. They done gone through hell and back together and I'm happy for both of them."
