R&B star Rihanna has reportedlyracked up 200,000 pounds in fines on her 777 tour due tolate airport departures.
The Diamonds hitmaker, who is performing seven gigs inseven cities in seven days, has been penalised as her latecoming at shows and insistence on partying afterwards hasresulted in almost every one of the flights taken by herprivate jet being delayed, reported Daily Telegraph.
"Rihanna delays going on stage, which throws out thewhole schedule. It's a reaction to the fact that every secondof her time is accounted for by organisers. She likes to be incontrol," a source said.
The 24-year-old singer's team is said to have been makingfrantic calls to airports before each flight. But theirefforts have not been enough to stop airport officials fromissuing fines.
"Every hour that goes by she has to pay for flightclearance on runways and also incurs costs of the privateairport teams, customs, baggage handlers and security," thesource added.
