London:
R&B star Rihanna has been appointed the spokesmodel for fashion house Gucci's new campaign for The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
The Umbrella hitmaker will front the Italian designer's Tattoo Heart range of products. A quarter of all profits made from the line will be donated to the children's charity, Daily Star reported.
Explaining why they chose the 23-year-old singer, Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said, "Her strong personality will fit the cause, because a musician and a beautiful woman are the perfect icon for this campaign."
