Los Angeles: R&B star Rihanna's stalker has been ordered to stay away from her for the next two years.

A judge has granted the Pour It Up hitmaker a permanent restraining order against Jonathan Whooper, who claimed he was the singer's 'future husband' after he was arrested earlier this month for multiple trespasses at the 25-year-old star's home in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles, reported TMZ online.

Whooper, who must stay at least 100 years away from Rihanna, will next appear for a mental competency hearing to determine if he is mentally fit to stand trial for felony attempted burglary, vandalism and stalking.

The Diamonds singer was granted a temporary restraining order after police officers arrested him at her mansion on October 4.

Whooper was also identified as the same person who broke into her home a week earlier on September 29 and threw a chair through a glass door.

According to court documents, during his last visit Whooper claimed to be an acquaintance of the Stay singer and declared he was her 'future husband' when confronted by security guards.

In her petition for a restraining order, Rihanna said she had suffered 'substantial emotional distress and concern for her personal safety' due to the break-ins.

Robert Melanson was sentenced to six days in jail and three years probation in June after he pled 'no contest' to charges for trespassing at the Barbados-born beauty's home.
