Peter Griffin totally stole Rihanna’s see-through CFDA dress.
New Delhi:
Family Guy's Peter Griffin totally stole Rihanna's see-through CFDA dress - head scarf, fur boa and all - but RiRi doesn't mind. In fact, she thinks 'he gets it' and she's changed her Twitter avatar picture to the one of Peter.
Peter - the overweight, suburban dad at the centre of animated series Family Guy - clearly doesn't have the body that the Adam Selman-designed fishnet and crystal dress demands, but the extra poundage is compensated by his sheer fashion effrontery. He deserves every bit of the online applause he's getting for taking on Miss Good Girl Gone Bad herself.(Also read:Rihanna Wears 'Scandalous' Fishnet and Crystals and Little Else to CFDA)
The original picture was tweeted by TV network TBS with this caption: That awkward moment when you and your bestie are wearing the same thing. #OneOfUsNeedsToChange.
That's some fashion face-off. (Also read:Rihanna's Instagram Account Suspended)
Rihanna's dress, which she wore to collect the Fashion Icon award at the CFDA event in New York on June 2, is the only thing the Internet is talking about right now. It's been branded a revenge dress aimed at either ex-boyfriend Drake (they just broke up) or Instagram, who suspended the singer's account over racy pictures.
