Mumbai:
In his younger days in Bollywood, he was the quintessential romantic hero, but looks like now Rishi Kapoor has been getting a lot of offers to play a baddie on screen.
The veteran actor, who played the role of a villain in Agneepath remake, is playing a negative role once again in Subhash Ghai's upcoming movie.
Rishi Kapoor said, "I have selected a few and rejected the others. I have three films including Aurangzeb coming up, where I am playing the villain. But while I say negative roles, they are merely human characters."
"I think I have had a little more than my share of playing negative roles but I am enjoying it. It challenges the craft in me. They are principle characters in the films and are very plot-oriented. I am enjoying myself," he added.
Speaking about working with Subhash Ghai once again, Rishi Kapoor said, "After 32 years again I am delighted to be working with him. His villains are larger than life. I wanted to play a typical Subhash Ghai bad man in my own way. It's just the second day of our shoot and we are still developing the character."
