In an irony-rusting reversal of stereotypes, the 62-year-old Rishi Kapoor is spending his days actively exploring the 140-character limit world at his fingertips even as his 32-year-old son Ranbir maintains a wary distance from Twitter.
The Kapoor clan, cheerfully vast and rambling, are recent comers to social media - but only the senior generation. There was a brief but intense moment of excitement when Ranbir Kapoor joined Twitter in January. However, that chapter was closed after just a few hours as it was simply a promotional gimmick for a brand the actor was endorsing. However, this was forgiven and forgotten when Ranbir's father, Rishi Kapoor, re-joined Twitter after a 4-year absence. And here's why:
