Riteish and Arshad may shoot a few episodes of Comedy Nights
Mumbai:
Bollywood actors Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Arjun Kapoor and director Sajid Khan, may step into Kapil Sharma's shoes for his popular show Comedy Nights With Kapil if the stand-up comedian does not recover soon from slip disc.
Kapil, who suffered the injury while working out, is most likely to remain out of action for a couple of weeks. The makers of the show have approached some Bollywood stars to individually host a few of the upcoming episodes.
Preeti Simoes who is the creative director of the show, told PTI: "As Kapil is unwell, he could not shoot. He might take one or two weeks to recover. If he is still unwell and cannot shoot, then we will have Sajid Khan, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Kapoor and others to be a part of the show."
"These people will act according to their personality on the show. It is sweet of them to have agreed to take this up. The other family members from the show will continue to be a part of it," added Preeti. Kapil has already shot his last episode with Salman Khan, who appeared on the show to promote his upcoming movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
