Actor-filmmaker Riteish Deshmukh, who bagged awards for his debut Marathi movie Lai Bhaari, dedicated them to his late father Vilasrao Deshmukh and his first child with wife Genelia D'Souza.
While he turned producer with Marathi film Balak-Palak in 2013, Lai Bhaari is his first Marathi film as an actor.

"I wanna thank everyone who loved & voted for Lai Bhaari movie...," he shared.
The movie was nominated in 10 categories.
"LaiBhaari won 8 out of 10 nominations -Maharashtracha fav cinema, director, actor, villain, sup actress, song, singer & style icon," he posted.
"ZeeTalkies Maharashtracha favourite Cinema - LaiBhaari - won by @geneliad Jeetendra Thackeray & Amey Kopkar," he added.
