The makers of Tere Naal Love Hogayaare banking on the chemistry between Bollywood actors RiteishDeshmukh and Genelia D'Souza, who will be seen together onscreen after a gap of seven years.
"While penning the script we had Riteish in mind and whenwe narrated the script he jumped on board immediately. For thefemale lead, we were looking for someone chirpy and bubbly andsomeone who would just look perfect with Riteish. Genelia fitthe bill and she also gave her nod. The chemistry between thetwo is crackling," producer Kumar Taurani said.
The stars made their debut in Bollywood together in 2003with Tujhe Meri Kasam. Though the movie was an average onebut the Riteish-Genelia chemistry worked pretty well. Later,the duo worked together in Masti (2004).
Tere Naal Love Hogaya is directed by debutante MandeepKumar and stars Genelia, Riteish and Om Puri in the lead roles.Smita Jaykar and Tinnu Anand appear in supporting roles.Abhishek Bachchan has a cameo.
The romantic-comedy is produced under the banner of TipsMusic Films and is scheduled to release in 2012.
According to sources, currently the shooting of themovie is going on in Manali. The lead pair had a hecticschedule for the first 15 days and had little time to do muchelse. But that did not stop the couple from making the most oftheir time together.
"I can't comment on their personal life, but Riteish andGenelia look really cute together. Their chemistry shows inthe film and works well for it too," Taurani said.
