Robin Gibb vows to record again
London: Robin Gibb has vowed to record again.

The Bee Gees star - who has liver and colon cancer - has beaten incredible odds to wake up from a coma after catching pneumonia and his son has vowed he will "continue to fight" and hopes to fully recover and record again.

Robin-John Gibb told The Sun newspaper: "His vitals are perfect. He just needs to build his strength. Work is what he wants to get back to doing."

Robin-John, 29, added his father - who was given less than a 10 per cent chance of survival by doctors - had started mouthing along to the words of his own songs when they played them to him, and finally came back around as his family played the music from his recent classical work Titanic Requiem.

He added: "He woke up while we were playing the track which is a movement from the Requiem we have just written."

Robin-John also talked about his elation at the moment Robin, 62 awoke from his coma at The London Clinic and spoke to him and his mother, Dwina.

He revealed: "We said, 'We love you.' He said, 'Hi RJ,' and, 'Hi sweetheart,' to my mother."
