Musician Anoushka Shankar's wedding to filmmaker Joe Wright has reportedly 'devastated'his ex-fiancee, former Bond Girl Rosamund Pike.
The Die Another Day star's planned wedding to Wrighttwo years ago was called off at the last minute. Now the newsthat the Atonement director has secretly married and isexpecting a child with his new wife has come as a blow to theactress, reported Daily Mail.
Wright, 37, married Anoushka, 29, in London last monthwith only close family and friends invited. Anoushka, thedaughter of sitar legend Ravi Shankar and half-sister ofsinger Norah Jones, is now pregnant.
"Anoushka and Joe wanted a quiet affair with closefamily and friends," said a friend of the pair.
"Ros was devastated when she found out as she hadn'tbeen told. It was quite different to the big wedding she hadplanned with Joe. Anoushka believes a wedding is a spiritualaffair. She had no interest in a media circus," the friendadded.
Rosamund, 31, was due to marry Wright in September2008, but the wedding was cancelled after Rosamund sent outinvitations with the couple pictured in a hot tub.
