Saba Azad has completed the shooting for the second season of her popular web series Rocket Boys. The actress has posted a video collage and raised excitement among her fans for the new season. Rocket Boys premiered on SonyLIV in February. Saba plays the role of Parvana Irani in the series that also features Jim Sarbh, Ishwak Singh and Regina Cassandra in lead roles. In her latest post, Saba Azad is seen getting ready for the shoot, creating Boomerangs in a vintage costume. From doing a table read with her co-stars to goofing around with the crew on set, the video is too good to miss. “Season wrap on the Rocket Ship. Up, up and away. Rocket Boys…season 2,” read the caption. Reacting to the post, Hrithik Roshan's cousin Pashmina Roshan wrote, “Vintage beauty” and added a red heart.

Rocket Boys is set in the 50s and 60s. The web series chronicles the lives of three men behind the launch of India's space and nuclear programmes – Dr Homi J Bhabha, the man who formulated India's nuclear programme; Dr Vikram Sarabhai, the father of the Indian Space Programme; and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, the pioneer of modern Indian aerospace and nuclear technology.

Saba Azad also shared an image from the screen test for her role in Rocket Boys. She is seen wearing a white shirt and a black satin skirt with a cigarette in one hand. Saba singled out a note for her close friend, actor Imaad Shah, for helping her audition for the role. “This image was the last round of a screen test - no points for guessing which one. Photo by the best bestie Imaad Shah, who helped me tirelessly through the entire audition process that happened during the first lockdown so had to be entirely self-shot, self-styled and other such,” wrote Saba. She added, “Am no hair stylist so a lot of spray went into holding that hair in place. Also, don't @ me for the death stick we were recreating an image reference we were given - I neither consume nor condone the use of tobacco aaite!”
Saba Azad is currently dating actor Hrithik Roshan. The duo are often spotted in Mumbai together.
