Well known screenplay writer SachinBhowmick, who has worked for films like Aaradhana, Love inTokyo, Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish, died here today following amassive cardiac attack.
Family sources said he breathed his last at his residencein suburban Mumbai this evening.
In a career spanning five decades, Bhowmick worked withdirectors like Nasir Hussain, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, J OmPrakash, Subhash Ghai, and Rakesh Roshan.
He wrote the screenplay for films like 'Aradhana', 'Lovein Tokyo', 'Brahmachari', 'Caravan', 'Golmaal', 'Hum Kisi SeKum Nahi', An Evening in Paris, 'Aayi Milan Ki Bela','Janwar', 'Taal', 'Karan Arjun', 'Soldier', 'Koi Mil Gaya' and'Krrish'.
Bhowmick had directed one film, the 1973 Rajesh Khannaand Sharmila Tagore-starrer 'Raja Rani' which he also wrote.
