Sachin Tendulkar watches Marathi film Natrang

  • The movie, depicting the plight of a 'Tamasha' artist, turned out to be a fine watch for Sachin, who was all praise for Atul's work and the film music, by composer-duo Ajay-Atul.
  • "On and off, I keep on watching many movies. This is a standard piece of work in the recent times," he said.
  • Speaking to PTI, Atul said, "Sachin had expressed his desire to watch the movie when we met recently for the screening of 'Peepli Live'. He appreciated it a lot, discussed it meticulously and asked several questions as to how I got under the skin of the character."
  • "Sachin has made us proud and happy through his work over two decades now...And it is nice that we could reciprocate it in our own way...Its a great feeling," Atul said.
  • 'Natrang' tells the story of a farm worker who is also an amateur wrestler. He dreams of playing the king in folk Marathi theatre. The movie will be aired on Zee Talkies on August 28.
