Sacred Games Actress Elnaaz Norouzi's Fan Moment (Of Sorts) With Saif Ali Khan

Elnaaz Norouzi, who was recently seen in Netflix's Sacred Games, had a fan moment of sorts while she was shooting for the web series with Saif Ali Khan, a Hindustan Times report stated. "While I was growing up in Germany, I used to watch Saif in Kal Ho Na Ho and never in my dreams had I thought that I would be doing a project with him," the Iranian actress told Hindustan Times. The 26-year-old actress said that she was "literally shaking" while shooting her "very first scene" with Saif Ali Khan. "Fortunately or unfortunately, my very first scene was with Saif sir. I was so scared that I was literally shaking. I kept wondering 'why are the directors doing this to me? Why have they given me the scene with him so soon," the actress told Hindustan Times.

Elnaaz Norouzi, who portrays the character of Zoya Mirza in Sacred Games, had all good things to say about her Sacred Games co-actor Saif. "When I see that scene today, I feel it has been my worst performance because I was so excited that I didn't know how to do it [right]. But Saif sir was amazing. He made me comfortable and helped me with my lines by giving cues," Elnaaz said.

Elnaaz, who also shares the screen with Nawazuddin Siddiqui (who plays Ganesh Gaitonde) in the web series, said: "Oh my god! His eyes! Just look into them and you'd be like what an actor he is. I was new had no idea about anything. I kept thinking will I be able to match up to him."

Elnaaz revealed that it was her Hindi, which got her the role of Zoya Mirza in the crime-thriller series. "I remember makers were looking for Zoya's character for a very long time and they wanted an Indian girl. So when they found someone, either Vikram wouldn't like or Anurag wouldn't like her. So, I feel glad that both of them liked me and they were particularly happy with my Hindi. And that's why I got this role," Elnaaz added.

Elnaaz's character in Sacred Games is manipulative and she plays an actress in the series. She had earlier featured in Guru Randhawa's music video Made In India. She has also featured in Pakistani film Maan Jao Naa, which released earlier this year.

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap, Sacred Games released on July 6. The series also stars Radhika Apte, Pankaj Tripathi, Suvreen Chawla and Rajshri Deshpande.
