Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan might share screen space in Karan Johar’s forthcoming film.
New Delhi:
Saif Ali Khan seems to have taken his comic role in Humshakals a bit too seriously as he is in the habit of cracking jokes in every nook and corner these days. Recently, Saif was asked if he had signed Varun Dhawan for his next home production and he confirmed the development with a simple 'yes', followed by this witty reply, "As a producer I would be crazy to reject an opportunity to make films with hit younger stars who also cost less."
We wonder how Varun Dhawan will take this remark. The Main Tera Hero will reportedly share screen space with Saif Ali Khan in his forthcoming film produced by Dharma Productions. This will be Karan Johar's first movie with Ek Villain director Mohit Suri. "Karan Johar has approached me with an idea for a young love story which my writer and I have been developing with him," said Mohit Suri in a statement.(Also read:In Kareena's Place, I Would Have Filed for Divorce: Saif Ali Khan on Cross-Dressing)
The film, titled Humari Adhuri Kahani, reportedly needs two male actors and Karan has his eyes on Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan. "Karan is in advance talks with both Saif and Varun. The story needs two male actors with an appreciable age difference between them. The modalities are being worked out," said a source.
