The Pataudi family has one less actor/aspiring actor. Sara, the 17-year-old daughter of Saif Ali Khan and first wife Amrita Singh, has no stars in her eyes, says step-mother Kareena Kapoor.
In an interview to Hindustan Times, Kareena says: Sara is at Columbia University in New York. She's studying at one of the best schools in the world, and her father is proud of her. There's no talk of Bollywood for sure.
That might disappoint dad Saif, who said last year that acting was "most incredible profession in the whole world."
Sara's name cropped up regularly as a future star to watch after she posed with her mother on the cover of a magazine and modeled an Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla outfit at an Ambani party last August. She was rumoured to have been cast in a Yash Raj production till Amrita Singh clarified that it was she who signed up for Aurangzeb and not her daughter.
Sara's family has no dearth of actors and won't miss her - there's grandmother Sharmila Tagore and aunt Soha Ali Khan in addition to her parents and stepmother.
