Sara, daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, is the newest It Girl in town after scoring the cover of Hello! Magazine with her mother. Not only are Bollywood producers lining up with film offers, Sara is also on the verge of becoming a fashion darling as the face of designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla's first pret label aimed at young fashionistas.
"It's our 25th year in fashion, and we wanted to mark it by challenging ourselves to create outfits for a new demographic, at affordable prices," Sandeep Khosla said to a newspaper.
Actress Amrita Singh said that her daughter has been wearing Abu-Sandeep's ensembles since she was a baby - including her very first lehenga, embellished with gold and silver, when Sara was barely a year old.
Sara herself credits the designer duo for shaping her fashion sensibilities. "Abu and Sandy love spoiling me. When they were in London recently, they bought me four pairs of shoes, five shirts and lots of accessories. I just have to say, 'Sandy, I really like this' and he gives it to me! My sense of fashion has entirely been shaped by them," she said in an interview to a daily.
According to reports, 16-year old Sara is flooded with film offers, but her future plans do not involve a film career and wants to go to Yale for further studies.
