As per tradition Salman Khan will indeed make his appearance at the box office on Eid, 2013. Earlier it was being said that Akshay Kumar would be releasing his upcoming gangster film Once upon A Time In Mumbaai 2 without much competition on Eid next year.
However, according to sources Salman and Sohail Khan have now purchased the remake rights of a south Indian film, which will be released on the festive occasion. However, this is not Sohail's long-in-the-waiting Sher Khan.
A source said: "Salman has had an amazing track record with four back-to-back hits on Eid. The name of the South remake is being kept under wraps till a formal announcement is made."
