The Dabangg star, who will turn 50 in December, followed in Aamir Khan's footsteps for Ali Abbas Zafar's Sultan, in which he will be seen as a wrestler. Aamir made headlines for his weight fluctuations for his film projects and that has raised concerns in the family over his health. But Salman said that it's not the case for Sultan, which will hit the screens on Eid 2016.

The actor asserts that as he is not gaining weight or adding fat, there is no health complications involved.

After entertaining his fans with a heart-warming story in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman is all set to return to the silver screen as 'Prem' character in Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The family drama, which reunites Salman with Mr Barjatya after 16 years, also stars Sonam Kapoor and Anupam Kher and will hit the screens on November 12.

"Training is going good. It is just that I have not given much time to it because of promotion of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. I wish I wouldn't have to promote films so that I would have concentrated on the training more. But this is also important," he said.

Salman started intensive training for wrestling and mixed martial arts for Sultan with international action director Larnell Stovall. Produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films banner, the movie is reportedly based on the life of a wrestler and the shooting of the film is scheduled to commence in November.
