Sapna Bhavnani grees she had differences with Salman Khan, but says she isn't obliged to defer to him
Mumbai:
Sapna Bhavnani was said to be embroiled in a verbal spat with Salman Khan during her Bigg Boss 6 stint. The celebrity hairstylist, the latest to be evicted from the show, agrees she had differences with the actor, but says she isn't obliged to defer to him just because of his star status.
"Salman is not god, neither am I. We have differences. He is the number one star, which doesn't mean that I have to act with him in a certain way," Bhavnani said post her eviction.
She came to be known for her straightforward yet short-tempered demeanour on the show, though over the period of her stay, she mellowed down and kept calm most of the times.
After her eviction, the contestants left in the house include Niketan Madhok, Urvashi Dholakia, Delnaaz Irani, Rajev Paul, Sana Khan and Imam Siddique.
However, she feels Delnaaz, Sana and Rajev doesn't deserve to win the game at all."The coalition between Sana, Rajev and Delnaaz has brought them till here. I don't think there is anything interesting about them. I don't see anything good in them," said Bhavnani, whose star clientele includes John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
While she calls Rajev a "hopeless person", she feels his former wife Delnaaz "needs to stand up" for herself on the show.
"Delnaaz has taken a lot of nonsense from Rajev. She is behaving like a bechari (helpless woman). She is completely fake. She should have retaliated. She would have set up a good example for women," said Bhavnani. As for Rajev, Sapna feels he is just interested in picking up fights with everyone. "Rajev is politically incorrect. He is hopeless and picks up fights with everyone for no reason. He is obnoxious and behaves like a college kid. He wears all these loud t-shirts. Karishma (Kotak) used to rightly say, 'one should act your age and not your shoe-size'," she said.
Bhavnani says she didn't want to be a part of any groups in the house and is happy to be out of it now."If I had been a part of any group, I would have gone mad. I am happy to be out of the show. Since the first week I was ready to be out of it," she said.
She only wishes that cartoonist Aseem Trivedi or Gulab gang leader Sampat Pal had remained long enough in the show to emerge winner."I thought that since Alag che (it's different) was the concept (this season), I would have wanted one of my role models to win the show. I would have wanted either Aseem or Sampat to win," she said.
Asked who would she like to be friends with after the show, she said: "I would want to stay friends with Karishma, Niketan, Urvashi, Imam and of course, Aseem," she added.
