Jacqueline Fernandez, star of hit films like Murder 2, Housefull and Race 2, was the leading lady of choice for Kick, reveals her co-star Salman Khan. Kick will be Jacqueline's first film as the sole female lead after her debut movie Aladin (2009).
The Sri Lankan beauty's toned body, showcased to great advantage in the Kick song Jumme Ki Raat, has made her the envy of fans and female colleagues alike. Jacqueline is forthcoming about her workout secrets. "My fitness regime includes a combination of yoga, cardio and dance. But Salman feels I should focus more on weight training," she says.
For 48-year-old Salman, however, it's all in the mind. "My secret is to feel and believe you are getting younger," he says.
Salman has his hands full with Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Karan Johar's Shuddhi after Kick. The actor will devote 150-200 days each to both the films. "I feel it's going to be a long but exciting journey," says Salman.
Kick, directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, is out this Friday.
