In another video from the set of Sikandar, police vehicles can be seen inside Falaknuma Palace, indicating heightened security measures for the shoot. In September, Salman Khan faced a rib injury while filming Sikandar. As rumours about his condition circulated, the actor confirmed the news. While on the sets of Bigg Boss 18, he mentioned to the paparazzi that he had broken two ribs. As he was walking towards his car, he reminded the photographers to be careful, highlighting the seriousness of his injury. Salman Khan said, "Do pasaliya tuti hai, aaram se. (Two ribs are broken, easily)" The video was shared by a fan page on X.

Salman Khan announced Sikandar back in April. He dropped a poster of the film on Instagram. The side note read, "Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' aur ‘Maidaan' ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo. [This Eid, watch ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' and ‘Maidaan' and meet ‘Sikandar' the next Eid.] Wish you all Eid Mubarak!"
In addition to Salman Khan, Sikandar also features Suniel Shetty, Sathyaraj Prateik Patil Babbar, Chaitannya Choudhry and Nawab Shah. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the project is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
