Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has expressed his deep regret on not being able to meet late former President APJ Abdul Kalam, saying he should have made the effort to see him.
Dr Kalam, who served as the 11th President from 2002 to 2007 and came to be known as 'People's President', died on July 27 after he collapsed during a lecture at IIM Shillong. He was 83.
Salman said it is his loss that he could not meet Dr Kalam.
