Salman Khan in a still from Bajrangi Bhaijaan
New Delhi:
Actor Salman Khan rarely allows the public gaze into his artwork, a hobby that is well-known but little seen. The 49-year-old actor has now tweeted a painting, presumably by him, titled 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' which is the name of his next film.
The painting depicts a man and woman in brush strokes of black and white, with a red bindi on the woman's forehead providing a spot of colour:
Among those who have been privy to Salman's paintings is his sister Arpita Khan Sharma, who he presented with a painting depicting the various postures of offering namaz. (Also Read: The 'Something Special' Promised by Salman Khan is an Epic Poster From Bajrangi Bhaijaan )
Meanwhile, stills of Salman and co-star Kareena Kapoor from Bajrangi Bhaijaan have been making quite a buzz on social media after trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted a few pictures on June 16. He also included a still from Selfie Le Le Re, the first song from Bajrangi Bhaijaan that was released on June 3. This is what he posted on Twitter:
The trailer of the Kabir Khan-directed film will release on June 18 and tracks the story of a speech-impaired little girl, played by Harshaali Malhotra, whom Hanuman devotee Salman vows to see safely home to Pakistan.
Co-produced by Salman Khan, the movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as Rasika and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and is slated to hit screens on July 17 this year.
