New Delhi:
Harshaali Malhotra, all of six years old, has been unanimously declared a star after her performance as the speech-impaired Munni who Salman Khan takes under his wing in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. A behind-the-scenes video posted on YouTube makes us better acquainted with Harshaali and it's no mystery why she's been winning hearts wholesale.
In the three-minute clip, Harshaali plants a kiss on director Kabir Khan's cheek and hugs Salman. The affection is returned with interest from both gentlemen.
"Mujhe Salman Uncle bahut acche lagte hain (I love Salman Uncle)," she says about her 49-year-old co-star, adding, "When I heard I was going to act with him, I danced for two days."
Harshaali was a fast learner, Kabir Khan says. When filming started, however, it wasn't all smooth sailing. Being on set was overwhelming for the six-year-old and almost everything would send her into a flood of tears - just calling 'action' would make her cry.
No longer. Harshaali is a veteran of 'action' now, as you will see from the video below.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan has already established itself as Salman Khan's biggest blockbuster so far, and is currently speeding towards Rs 300 crores in box office receipts.
