Trade analyst Taran Adarsh predicted that the film's weekend collection with surpass Salman's previuos Eid release Kick and tweeted:

In his review for NDTV, Saibal Chatterjee wrote: "Salman Khan may the principal driving force of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, but the real star of the film is the super-cute child actor Harshaali Malhotra."
Salman's film was screened for various Bollywood celebs and they've all sung praises for the superstar calling it 'his best work yet'.
