New Delhi: Salman Khan has got the Eid present he was looking for with his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan minting over Rs 27 crores on its opening day.
However, the film's earnings are almost half of Baahubali's which collected Rs 50 crores on the first day. They surpass those of 2015's other big openers such as Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Any Body Can Dance 2 and Dil Dhadakne Do.

Meanwhile, Baahubali contiunes to rule the box office with collections of over Rs 200 crores. The dubbed Hindi version alone has crossed Rs 50 crores while the Tamil and Telugu ones are doing equally well both in India and abroad.
