Salman Khan's name being dragged into Jiah Khan case, tweets sister
Arpita says she is sure truth will previal in the Jiah Khan suicide case.
New Delhi: Actor Salman Khan may have chosen to keep his own counsel on 25-year-old actress Jiah Khan's suicide but little sister Arpita has been quick to rubbish rumours about him intervening in Jiah's relationship with aspiring actor Suraj Pancholi.

An indignant Arpita tweetd on June 15, 2013: "Pple need to get their facts right first. Let the law take its course, and the truth will prevail. Bhai's name is just being dragged."

She added: "Let the verdict come out, lets see what the police has to say. I am sure the truth will prevail. It's wrong of us to formulate any opinion."

She further posted: "We have known the Pancholi's & Shetty's forever, they wouldn't use Bhais name for publicity."

Arpita's response comes after Jiah's mother Rabiya Amin Khan reportedly claimed that actor Aditya Pancholi, Suraj's father, asked Salman to talk his son out of the relationship with Jiah.

Suraj's mother actress Zarina Wahab recently told Mid Day that her husband had done no such thing.

"Do you think Salman has the time to do that? Aditya never told him to ask Suraj to stay away from Jiah. In fact, had I known that she was such a disturbed child, I would have asked Suraj to end the relationship," Zarina said.

Suraj and Jiah reportedly dated for a year. Jiah, who starred in Nishabd with Amitabh Bachchan, was found hanging in her Mumbai home on the night of June 3. Suraj has been arrested and charged with abetting her suicide.
