Superstar Salman Khan's actor-scriptwriter father Salim Khan made his debut on Twitter with the moniker 'luvsalimkhan' on March 29.
Salman welcomed 80-year-old Mr Khan on Twitter on Tuesday.
Salman tweeted on his father's debut:
Salim Khan's first three tweets were on politician Mohan Bhagwat's statement on Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
Salman, 50, shared the tweets of his father.
Salman is currently busy shooting for Sultan, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It also stars actress Anushka Sharma. (Also Read: Spotted: Salman Khan Riding a Bike on the Sets of Sultan)
The film will see Salman in the role of a wrestler for which he has trained extensively in mixed martial arts and wrestling. Even Anushka has undergone rigorous training for six weeks for her role as a wrestler in the movie.
