London:
Singer Sam Smith has rubbished reports that he's recording the new James Bond theme song, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The 23-year-old Grammy Award-winner was reportedly ropeded in for the recording of the coveted track for SPECTRE, but he said that he's not been offered the chance.
"It's definitely not me. People seem to think I'm doing it but I have no idea what's going on," said Sam on Capital FM.
However, Sam admitted he'd 'love' the opportunity to record the theme song and follow in the footsteps of Adele, whose Skyfall recording won the Best Original Song at the Academy Awards in 2013.
He said, "I'd love to do it. It'd be a dream to do."
