Salman Khan may have been absent from the IIFA awards over the weekend but he's certainly a reassuring presence in the lives of his ex loves. And this time it is not Katrina Kaif but a much older flame - Sangeeta Bijlani.
Sangeeta Bijlani, who is now married to former Indian skipper Mohammed Azharuddin, was caught watching The Avengers with Salman and his family including elder sister Alvira at a Mumbai theatre over the weekend.
So is that why Salman chose to give IIFA a miss?
Unconfirmed reports suggest that Sangeeta's marriage has hit a rough patch. She is now a regular face at Mumbai's social events and has also found a new BFF in Urmila Matondkar, the two having been spotted at various events together.
Salman's certainly got his hands full, what with helping Katrina out in the gym and offering Sangeeta a shoulder to cry on.
