Sanjay Dutt, who starred as a child actor in a qawwali song in Reshma aur Shera four decades age, will now be seen as a qawwali singer in a song from Apoorva Lakhia's remake of Zanjeer.
Dutt was seen as a child artiste in a qawwali song in Reshma Aur Shera (1972), which starred his late father Sunil Dutt, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, and other seasoned actors like Vinod Khanna, Waheeda Rehman and Rakhee.
Now, after 41 years in the industry and over 150 films to his credit, Dutt will be seen in a qawwali song in his upcoming film Zanjeer, where he would be reprising the iconic character of Sher Khan from the original version.
The qawwali song in the film goes as - Khochey Pathan Ki Zubaan.
Lakhia's remake stars Ram Charan, Priyanka Chopra, Prakash Raj, Mahie Gill and Atul Kulkarni. The film is set to release on September 6.
