Sanjay Gupta now has another set of house keys. The filmmaker has splurged on a 50th floor penthouse in Mumbai's tallest under-construction building. The apartment will be a gift to his one-and-half year old son Shivaansh.
According to reports, it was Sonu Sood who suggested Sanjay Gupta to take a look at the multi-storey Mahalaxmi property. Sonu Sood and Sanjay Gupta recently worked together in the latter's upcoming gangster film Shootout at Wadala.
Sanjay Gupta confirmed the news and said, "I have been a south Bombay kid and I have noticed that there is a remarkable change in the growth of a child in SoBo compared to the suburbs. So, we decided to make an investment for Shivaan and shift there when it is ready in about two years."
The filmmaker added that his penthouse overlooks the Race Course and the Arabian Sea. The director said, "I have heard some great things about it from Sonu and he has bought a flat here as well."
