Phas Gaye Re Obama actor Sanjay Mishra is all set to make his directorial debut with Pranam Walekum, a comedy film based on the issues of communal harmony.
The 48-year-old actor will also act in the movie and said he is currently focusing on directing and has stopped taking any further acting assignments.
The film also stars Brazilian model Gisslle Monterio, Vijay Raaz, Manu Rishi, Shilpa Shukla, Manoj Pahwa and Asrani.
Produced by Sandiip Kapoor, the film will also see Irrfan Khan and Rajat Kapoor in cameo.
"The movie is a situational comedy and though it is based on communal harmony, we are tackling the issue in a very light and healthy way," said Mishra.
