"What I can guarantee is that you will get a great content and real performances. Don't mistake it to be a children's film, a film that's not meant for you. It is for everyone," the 26-year-old said here on Tuesday in an interview.
"Sorry for saying this, but if I have to draw a parallel, I loved Taare Zameen Par and it's not a children's film. This film is completely different from that but this is also not a children's film. This is for everyone who has some heart and emotion in them," he added.
Director Amole Gupte's son Partho plays the role of a young boy who aspires to become a skating champion in the film while Saqib plays his coach.
The film will hit theatres on May 9.
